Believer's Baptism

"Go, therefore, and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe everything I have commanded you." - Matthew 28:19-20

We believe baptism is a picture of a person giving his or her life to the Lord. It speaks of an identity with the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus. The word means to immerse and symbolized the totality of a life given to God. Biblical baptism follows a personal acceptance of Jesus as Savior in response to God's saving act.

Our baptismal practice at North Shore Church is immersion. Anyone who comes as a new believer would anticipate being baptized in that manner. If you would like to talk about being baptized for your faith in Christ, let's please sit down and visit together!

"Those who had received His word were baptized; and that day there were added about 3,000 souls." - Acts 2:41
